Authorities reported that a 2021 Hyundai Elantra was traveling north on Monticello Road\/SC-215 near the intersection of Kinsler Road when the vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. After the impact, the car left the roadway and collided with several trees.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, but despite all efforts, Ja\u2019kari D. Davis of Winnsboro was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger inside the vehicle survived the crash and was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
