According to the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 10:25 p.m. to the intersection of State Highway 29 and County Road AB in the Town of Montpelier after receiving reports of a devastating two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Preliminary investigations revealed that the motorcycle, traveling eastbound on State Highway 29, collided with a pickup truck traveling north on County Road AB after the truck had stopped at the intersection.

Tragically, both Jesse Morales Hernandez and Mary Elliott were pronounced dead at the scene.
